Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy – Sportomic

Effective Date: 13th June 2025

By using Sportomic’s platform and services, you agree to abide by this Cancellation and Refund Policy, which operates in conjunction with our Terms of Use.

1. Partner Venue and Event Bookings (Marketplace Bookings)

  • Sportomic acts as a technology enabler to help users book sports slots, coaching sessions, and events at third-party venues and academies listed on the platform.
  • Cancellation and refund terms are set by the individual venue or event partner.
  • Each venue or event listing will display its own cancellation window and refund percentage, which users are encouraged to review before booking.
  • Sportomic will reflect the partner’s policy transparently during the booking flow and in the order confirmation.
  • Refunds will only be processed if the cancellation request meets the criteria set by the venue.

2. How to Cancel a Booking

  • Online bookings: Users can cancel directly from the Sportomic app or website under "My Bookings", if permitted by the venue’s policy.
  • Offline bookings (manual bookings entered by the venue partner): Users must contact the venue directly. Cancellation and refund will be processed manually by the venue.
  • Refund eligibility and amount (if any) will be shown at the time of cancellation request.

3. Refund Processing and Timeline

  • Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment within 5–7 working days after approval.
  • In some cases, refunds may be issued as Sportomic Credits, which can be redeemed for future bookings and are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.

4. Sportomic Platform Handling Charge

  • A platform convenience fee charged at the time of booking will be deducted from all eligible refunds, unless explicitly waived.
  • This fee applies to all cancellations, except those initiated due to technical failure or venue-side error.

5. Cancellations by Venue or Event Organizer

  • In the rare case that a venue or event partner cancels the booking:
  • Users will receive either a full refund, or
  • A Sportomic-issued credit, equal to the full booking amount, valid for future use on the platform.

6. Failed Transactions or Booking Error

  • If a booking fails due to technical errors or transaction failure, the full amount will be refunded automatically.
  • Refunds in such cases will be processed within 7–10 working days from transaction reconciliation.

7. Unauthorized Payments and Disputes

Sportomic is not liable for any unauthorized transactions made via your account or payment method. Users are responsible for securing their login credentials and payment details.

8. Policy Updates

Sportomic reserves the right to modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website and app.
